How to identify movement from our set when dressing out. How to use the movement and accentuate it.

5 Day Intermediate Course
With a knowledge of the basics our intermediate course covers...
Various periods, starting with the 1930s and focusing on roller directions when setting
The 'old school' way of finger waving using just water, a comb and your fingers
You will cover various periods - from Regency to the 1960s.
How to look at a hairstyle reference, break it down and work out your setting plan
How to prep hair for wig application and apply a wig.

6 Week Intensive Course
For both beginners, intermediates and for those new to the industry eg. Trainees & Juniors
On the six week intensive course you'll learn...
The fundamentals - ie. Blocking a lace front wig, roller setting techniques, the importance of roller direction.
Wet setting - using water and drying your set in a wig oven.
Dry Setting - how to achieve the looks using heated appliances such as heated rollers, hotsticks etc.
Setting and dressing a variety of periods styles - both historical and vintage
How to 'read' a reference picture of a style, break it down and plan your set.
You will design and create your own 18th century powdered wig and/or an Avant Garde style.
How to prep hair for wig application and apply a wig.

This course provides plenty of scope for repetition which helps to build confidence and can be adapted to suit your individual needs.
